On Wednesday April 8, 2009 the Columbia County Board of Supervisors presented the participating members of the Columbia County Hazmat Team with a certificate of recognition for the Team's win during the 2009 Hazardous Materials Challenge in Montour Falls.  During the April 8th meeting, team members David Shultis, Paul Strobel, Peter Hotaling Jr., Gary Tuthill, Chris Harris and Stan Koloski were called before the Board of Supervisors and presented the Certificate of Recognition followed by a standing ovation.  Several additional Team members, family members, Chiefs and County Co-ordinators Van Deusen, Hunt and Howe also turned out to honor their accomplishment. The Certificate was presented by Valerie Bertram and Bart Delaney on behalf of the Board.
