The Columbia County Republican Committee held its 56th Annual Picnic on Saturday June 6th. The event was held on the grounds of the Stuyvesant Falls VFW on Albany Ave.

Special guest speaker was New York State Senator John J. Flanagan.

Others in attendance were: Senator Steven M. Saland, Assemblyman Marcus Molinaro, Assemblyman Peter D. Lopez, and Republican and Conservative Nominee for Governor of New York 2006 John Faso.

Some of the locally elected officials attending included D.A. Beth G. Cozzolino, Sheriff David W. Harrison Jr., County Clerk Holly Tanner, County Treasurer Ken Wilber, and County Coroner Angelo Nero.

Many of the Town Supervisors and officials were also present.
