The following two dispatch audio clips are from Ed Kostek. Mr. Kostek recorded these clips on his cassette recorder with his portable scanner nearby. He recorded them for his Blue Light radio program on station WCKL.

The first recording is for a reported structure fire at Bliss Towers. Columbia County Fire Control Dispatcher Ed Porecca 11-40, transmitted box 126 for 2nd and State Streets.

You will hear Hudson Car 6, Jim Coons respond, the old Hudson fire horns and the sirens of the apparatus responding.

The second recording is for a reported fire behind the Royalton on Warren Street. Columbia County Fire Control Dispatcher Ed Porecca 11-40, transmitted box 325 for Park Place and Warren Street.
Once again you will hear Hudson Car 6 Jim Coons respond. You will also hear the old fire alert warble.

It is believed these recordings are from the late 70's or early 80's.

Box 126 Bliss Towers

Box 325 Royalton

Thank you Ed Kostek for sending these clips.
