The Valatie Rescue Explorer Post had a car wash and bake sale on Saturday October 3rd,2009. The
Valatie Rescue Squad Explorer Post is currently looking for new members. The Explorer Post is a group of young adults ages
14-18, who have a common interest in helping the community. We assist the Rescue Squad on actual ambulance calls and provide
life-saving care. The explorers also act as patients in vehicle extrication drills with local fire departments. It is also
a great way to learn new skills that you can use beyond your high school career. You will also receive your certification
in C.P.R and First Aid. This is also a opportunity for students who would like to pursue a career in the medical field. We
also do many fun activities as well. In past years we have gone camping, laser-tagging, and bowling. We allow both males and
females to participate in the program. The post instills leadership qualities,responsibility,and service to the community
