01/20/10 One Car Accident Millbrook Road Claverack
A one car accident occured just
before 3PM today on Millbrook Road in the town of Claverack. It was located less than one mile off County 27. Claverack
Firefighters and Greenport Rescue were dispatched by Columbia 911 and responded to the reported car/tree accident. Extrication
of the patient took approximetly 45 minutes. Lifenet 71 flew the patient to Albany Medical Center from a landing
zone that was established at the Claverack School on Route 23B.
The Columbia County EMS Coordinators Office was
on the scene.
The New York State Police are investigating.
The roadway was closed for just over an hour
and a half.
