Columbia County 911 dispatched Canaan Firefighters and Lebanon Valley Rescue at 18:53 for a
reported car/tree accident. It occured on Route 295 near Pine Lane by the Massachusetts state line.
It
appears icy road conditions contributed to the one car accident. NYS Department of Transportation was requested to respond
per Canaan Command.
The driver of the vehicle refused medical treatment.
New York State Police
from New Lebanon investigated.
Canaan units were back in service just after 19:30.
