Columbia County 911 dispatched East Chatham Firefighters and Chatham Rescue at 2:56pm for a reported rollover auto accident on Route 295 near Rock City road in the Town of Chatham. The accident was in front of the Mackerer Farm.

Chatham Rescue requested a helicopter, that was on standby, to the scene. A landing zone was set up and secured by East Chatham Firefighters at the B-2 exit of the New York State Thruway. LifeNet 71 transported the patient. 

The Columbia County Sheriff's Department investigated the accident.

East Chatham units were back in service at 4:25pm.
