At 4:36PM on Friday Hudson Firefighters were dispatched to an alarm activation at 15 H. W. Rogers Lane in the city. First arriving truck, Engine 30 reported smoke coming from the rear of the building. Shortly after, Hudson Command reported a working structure fire. The fire was knocked down quickly and was contained to the bedroom. The building sprinkler system helped to stop the spread of the fire. The Hudson Police Department is also investigating.

Greenport Rescue was on the scene.
Hudson fire units were back in service at 7:03pm.
